Yasmine Creese-Brown introduces and wraps up Year One with some interesting complexity that got me curious. The classmates with different majors and a shared history bring up some cool questions about this new universe and the weird jumps in space and time.
I had to backtrack a bit in some parts to connect the story, but it's just the first issue, so no biggie. The lack of a big conflict at the end seems deliberate, building up the excitement for what's next.

Last weekend, I read this comic book. When I finished, I said, no, not only children read comic books. I loved the story, I liked the female theme in the characters, and the fact that it was science fiction increased the immersion. It was already a subject I was interested in. I both had fun and thought. The quality of the drawings, colors, and pages were amazing! I am very curious about the author's next book!
A phenominal teen/young adult read! I appreciate the strong and nuanced female character and the Sci-Fi basis. I will definitely follow the story and pick up sequels for a future read. I'm not usually a comic reader but this definitely held my attention. Looking forward to more!
