Last weekend, I read this comic book. When I finished, I said, no, not only children read comic books. I loved the story, I liked the female theme in the characters, and the fact that it was science fiction increased the immersion. It was already a subject I was interested in. I both had fun and thought. The quality of the drawings, colors, and pages were amazing! I am very curious about the author's next book!
Absolutely loved this one and the extended version has me in awe!! Can’t wait to read the next one !!
I consider this a non-spoiler because it starts on the first page: I love that this whole story starts off with a weird little interdimensional fly! I am a huge fan of interdimensional and alternate timeline storylines. I also love seeing female-centered storytelling and I appreciate that the main character set is truly diverse, and the character development that is happening as they face these wild situations as a team. Definitely can't wait to see what happens next!

Yasmine Creese-Brown introduces and wraps up Year One with some interesting complexity that got me curious. The classmates with different majors and a shared history bring up some cool questions about this new universe and the weird jumps in space and time.
I had to backtrack a bit in some parts to connect the story, but it's just the first issue, so no biggie. The lack of a big conflict at the end seems deliberate, building up the excitement for what's next.
I really enjoyed this action packed comic! I loved the focus on girl power, and working together as a team. The graphics were well done and I appreciated how it seemed like I was watching a tv episode while reading. The alternate universe was unique and a bit frightening if I'm being honest! The ending left the series open to other editions and episodes and that was exciting!
